Hi guys just want to wish everyone a merry Christmas and have a safe new year. I'm going to my sis for lunch with all my family, we have a big family. She has to cook for us all, we buy everything and pass it on to her. Then off to my hubby's family just to say hello. They are not into Christmas as my family is, so we don't have Christmas there. Then a very good friend of my has asked if i would like to go over there later. My daughters will go off and do their own thing with their friends. Cheers Deb

I've used this quote a lot in my cards this year but I LOVED it... " May your merry be very" Hope every one can indulge in lots of Christmas spirit. We'll be 12 for lunch at my sisters but we all share in the prep. As the kids get older I'm not looking forward to them going in different directions...hopefully they'll always stay home!

Hi Everyone
Xmas Eve is spent with my family which means this year it's my turn to have everyone here. Looking at around a dozen or so people with a few of our friends calling in also.
Xmas day is spent with my husbands family which normally goes a lot smoother than my family (bet everyone knows what I mean LOL). Only about 22 people on that day. Being on hols now for a couple of weeks certainly helps to get over the feasting a bit easier.
All the best to everyone for their festive activities and stay safe. ;D

I'm a little late in replying to this one . . . sorry about that . . .
Christmas this year for us was at home with my parents arriving on Christmas Eve and my brother and his family arriving on Boxing Day. We had a very lovely seafood luncheon and then the traditional pork roast (which we cooked on our spit) for dinner! There was also a roast turkey breast, veggies and for dessert pudding or for those that don't like that - triffle - totally yum!
It's amazing how quickly it's all over isn't it though . . . there seems to be such a big build up to it all and then you look around and it's all over!
